Gravity Generator
The water cycle. We love it, don’t we folks? but what if you could fit it all in one building without needing the power of the sun? Could we let gravity do all that pesky lifting? maybe? The basic concept is using the whirlpool effect to do work. When water goes down a drain, it starts to swirl as this is a more efficient way to travel down the pipes or something. Could a system be engineered so this effect of downward force being turned into rotational momentum is harnessed?
I don’t know but I’ll post some youtube videos i think might be relevant.
notice homeboy doesn’t get it spinning
these people got it spinning
i don’t know how this would scale or how this would be improved but might be worth a shot. the thing i keep trying to emphasize is the gravitational force being turned into rotational force. my guess is these people have a pump though
this is just a funny use of a whirlpool
then there’s this magic
you wouldn’t want to put this after one of the spinny pumps because air would ruin the vacuum. This is a different principle, but i wonder what would happen if the water just drained back into the well or a pool that repeated the process. Pretty much everyone says whatever motion you start will eventually stop but could it ever be more out than in? now for more goofy pumps.
Okay I’m not done posting pumps but somebody made one of these with a bottle in the middle of a siphon and I thought “this is just a syphon with extra steps. I might need to spend $20 on science.
i feel like i would’ve seen an action lab about this. like these

I haven’t done the science yet but this would be a fun addition to the up pipe on a desk version
see i don’t even think you could scale it up this much. but imagine you had this wrapping around a couple of giant whirlpools or several smaller whirlpools, feeding into them
maybe i’m an idiot but i keep thinking the real work is done by the air. It falls because it’s heavy and then wants to rise because it’s buoyant. Also, water is incredibly noisy.
